This study aims to analyse Neşet Ertaş folk songs in the context of Sufi Folk Music. In the study, four folk songs of Neşet Ertaş, one of the local artists of Kırşehir region, were included. Documents such as reports, books, archive files, notes, videos, audio recordings and photographs related to the research subject were analysed systematically by checking their authenticity. The research is a descriptive study in the survey model in which general situation determination is used to determine the current situation. In the study, there is an effort to reach a deep understanding about the folk songs of Neşet Ertaş. In this respect, importance was given to the subjective point of view of the interlocutors about the "mystical elements" in Neşet Ertaş folk songs. Conceptually; Turkish Music Culture, Turkish Folk Music of Kırşehir Region, Sufi Turkish Music, Instruments used in Sufi Turkish Folk Music, Neşet Ertaş Folk Songs in the Context of Sufi Folk Music have been discussed. With this study, it is aimed to contribute to the music tradition of Kırşehir region, which is an important cultural centre in Turkish Folk Music. The study is important in terms of contributing to the relationship between music and religion in Turkish Folk Music Culture and to educators and researchers working in this field.
